Quinta do Casal Branco Oak Aged
The prestigious American magazine "Wine Enthusiast" in its last edition 'Top 100 Best Buys of 2008' just rated Quinta do Casal Branco Red in the Third Place, with 91 points.
Colour - Deep blackish ruby.
Aroma - Smoky black fruits with a hint of oak.
Taste - Succulent black fruits with a chocolaty edge and a good balance of acidity. |
Catena Malbec - Argentina
Ruby-red. Subdued, brooding
aromas of blackberry, violet and licorice. A sweet, fat,
pliant fruit bomb, with flavors of cherry, red plum and
licorice complicated by fresh herbs. Slightly exotic in
the middle palate. Fairly large-scaled wine with good finishing
fruit. This rather user-friendly wine makes a very good
ambassador for malbec from Argentina. |

Recipe
2 pineapple wedges
3 mint leaves
1? oz Tezon Reposado Tequila
1 oz Malibu coconut rum
? oz blue curacao
Juice of whole lime
1 oz Agave nectar
Muddle pineapple and mint in glass. Add remaining ingredients with ice. Shake vigorously. Fill a 12-ounce glass with ice. Loosely strain into glass, allowing a little of the muddled mixture to enter the drink. Makes 1 serving. Garnish with a lime peel spiral and a slice of starfruit.

4 mint leaves, muddled
1 lime wedge
